The Campaign To Keep Libya Tidy & Clean
To help protect the archaeological sites and the environment in Libya, Temehu.com has began a campaign to Keep Libya Tidy & Clean. We urge all Libyans and foreign visitors to pay attention to the problem of litter in Libya and do all they can to help keep Libya clean.

This new
map (launched 22 of October 2009, at the Science Museum in London) illustrates the global consequences of failing to keep climate change to under 2 degrees Celsius. The map, developed using the latest peer-reviewed science from the Met Office Hadley Centre and other leading impact scientists, highlights some of the impacts that may occur if the global average temperature rises by 4 degrees Celsius above the pre-industrial climate average.
Temehu Tourism Services aims to:
- Gather and publish information to increase awareness.
- Establish contact with local communities.
- Participate in cultural events, such as festivals and ceremonies, like Nalut and Ghadames Festivals.
- Keep groups to very small numbers to provide quality tours and to minimise impact on local cultures.
- Make sure our guides are aware of and respect the local traditions.
- Help the local communities visited and support the local businesses involved.
- Ensure our guests are well aware of the environmental concerns and dangers of the areas they visit.
- Provide as much information as possible about the wildlife and the environment via our website.
- Provide affordable services to suit all needs.
- Protect the environment, its flora, fauna and landscapes wherever possible.
