Dar Ghadames Hotel

Inaugurated in 2005.
Considered the best hotel in Libya, mainly for its excellent hospitality and wonderful Berber traditional style and local architecture, providing high level of comfort and unique cool atmosphere to relax away from desert heat. The hotel comprises 64 rooms and 4 suites, located on two floors, all air-conditioned and equipped with satellite TV to stay in touch with the outside world. The bedrooms open onto the internal courtyard with a traditional style well at the centre. Each room has a veranda or patio with a table and two wicker armchairs made by local artisans. The rooms with either two single or a king size bed are decorated with a combination of traditional and modern styles: traditional coloured cushions and Berber carpet-like bedspreads.
